There are various types of solar lighting available for commercial use, including street lighting, security/floodlighting, and decorative lighting.
All solar lighting contains a solar PV panel and battery storage so that the lighting unit can generate electricity when the sun is available and continue to function (solar battery storage) when there’s low or no sunlight.
With the best units, light output can be maximised, significantly improving the efficiency of the light spread (coverage). Additionally the solar PV panels are positioned optimally to catch as much sunlight as possible, maximising power generation efficiency.
