The Problem

The owners of Technology House were referred to us by one of our Panel of Lenders – a pretty common occurrence. The business was converting a set of units for commercial rent and asked Ega Energy to provide a solution that enabled their proposition to be more attractive to potential ideal-fit tenants.

Clean energy was a big part of the ethos they wanted to promote, as well as driving some additional cost benefits to new tenants by reducing the overall running costs of each unit.

The EGA Solution

Solar PV was the obvious choice and the Feasibility Report we produced delivered a 140kW installation as the optimum solution. Battery storage also made economic sense, and we suggested phasing this in after the Solar PV installation was up and running, to stagger the cost, which we subsequently did.
