Installing Wind Power on your industrial or commercial property offers a number of benefits, not least of which are considerable savings in energy costs and reducing your impact on the environment (which simultaneously enables you to hit or exceed your carbon footprint reduction target).
The process is simple, lightweight and requires only a couple of meetings once we establish feasibility, ie whether and how your site can benefit.
A wind turbine is a tower with rotor blades that are turned by the wind to produce electricity. The more wind, the more energy is produced.
There are two types of wind turbines for domestic or business use: Free-standing (also known as ‘pole-mounted’) and Building-mounted.
Pole-mounted wind turbines tend to be larger and more suitable for exposed rural locations. A large pole-mounted turbine can reach over 75 metres in height and generate anywhere up to 100 kW (kilowatts). Roof-mounted turbines are much smaller and can be installed on buildings in urban areas. They typically generate between 0.5 and 2.5 kW.
Turbine lifespan typically averages 25 years; but they do require periodic maintenance
Business requirements – how much power do you actually need?
Location – how much wind there is in your area?
Planning permission – is it required? (we’ll pre-check this)
If you’d like a consultative call (rather than a sales pitch) to explore the options that best suit your situation and needs, share your answers to just a handful of questions below so that we can better understand your specific requirements and goals.
We’ll also immediately send you our booklet ‘Renewable Energy: Buzzword or Business Asset’ which explains our process, and why it’s not just possible but typical for us to help clients just like you, achieve your carbon and energy cost reduction goals without needing to resource or fund the CapEx.
